The Madagascar Essence

Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world, having separated from the African mainland 165 million years ago. It was then positioned between Africa and India as part of the supercontinent Gondwana. Approximately 90 million years ago, the eastern half of Madagascar broke off moving northward and finally becoming India. Madagascar’s isolation resulted in an explosion of very exotic endemic plants and animals including over 70 species of lemurs and 350 species of reptiles including many bizarre types of chameleons. The island also has the highest proportion of endemic birds of any country on earth and has 6000 species of plants.

Surprisingly, Madagascar was only settled 2000 years ago; the people originated from Indo Malayan seafarers. Marco Polo was the first European to write of Madagascar although Arab cartographers at that time had long known of the island, which they referred to as Gezirat Al-Komor, meaning Island of the Moon. It is a very lunar country and traditionally the people there were in fact very nocturnal.They worked in the cool of the evening or the early morning and slept during the heat of the day. Most of their ceremonies too were held in the evening as the moon was rising. Like many of the lemurs who inhabit the island, the Malagasy are aligned to the much softer, gentler lunar energy, which is a natural cycle beyond the earth and a much softer, gentler energy than solar.This may explain why there is gentleness and peacefulness in the people and the land, unlike so much of neighbouring Africa.

Madagascar’s population of 20 million is composed of 17 tribes, descended from the original inhabitants.The Malagasy people are very laid back, polite, quite reserved and prefer to avoid conflict atall costs. Hospitality, even to total strangers, is sacrosanct to them.There exists between all tribes a harmony, tolerance and peaceful co-operation.

The Madagascar Essence embodies these aspects of harmony, tolerance and peaceful co-operation, and helps you connect with gentleness and harmony to others, animals and the land.

The remedy was completed on Sunday 7th November at 10.16 am in the Ankarana Special Reserve. My wife Jane and I explored many areas in all three zones of Madagascar before I finally chose this location to prepare the Essence. It is in the very top, north-east of the island. It is a stunningly beautiful and pristine area, one of Madagascar’s jewels, and has an incredibly calm and peaceful energy.The semi dry forest there contains many inquisitive lemurs, is dotted with magnificent Baobabs and dominated by huge outcrops of ruby red jagged limestone pinnacles (“tsingy”) ascending many metres high. Running through the tsingy are hidden canyons and subterranean rivers, some containing crocodiles.There are also bat inhabited grottos and caves steeped in legends and history.

While I was away preparing the Essence, Jane was exploring the tsingy and had a close encounter there with an aggressive, territorial, male fosa on the prowl for a mate.The fosa is Madagascar’s largest terrestrial predator and resembles a large muscular fox.

The most important healing quality of the Madagascar Essence is its potential for the eradication of disease by allowing you to detach from and resist the energy of mass consciousness and its predilections for disease. An incarnating soul is straight away enmeshed into the mass consciousness of humanity and is connected to disease, whether physical,emotional or mental and ultimately suffers it in one form or another. Everything that every human experiences originates in mass consciousness. It is an over-shadowing factor for everyone. It affects what you think and what you believe and consequently determines what happens to you.

This Essence can also remove limiting beliefs around our health and wellbeing that we osmotically absorb from mass consciousness. Examples of this are theconditioning and belief that as we get older our minds and bodies will deteriorate and that we only have 70 years of life (the three score and ten syndrome).These have become concrete limitations firmly embedded in mass consciousness. Humanity has forgotten and needs to be reminded that living 70 years is only half of man’s natural life cycle.

There are older people who are mentally sharp, yet still physically impaired in many ways such as hearing loss or reduced mobility etc. While they have accepted the belief and conditioning that says the physical body will deteriorate, they have not accepted that their mind will switch off, so there is no predisposition to mental collapse. Most will have always enjoyed exploring their mind and known that they were not going to become senile. However, you just cannot hope that you will live to a 100 plus or that you will stay in physical balance or stay mentally sharp for your whole life.You have to have a very strong belief about these happenings, not merely hope for them, because if you hope for something, by its own nature hope will lead to disappointment - it’s not a knowing.

Our thoughts, emotional responses and beliefs, all of which can create disease, are primarily coming from and/or greatly influenced by our connection to mass consciousness.The moment you detach from mass consciousness and its predilections for disease, you are standing with the face of freedom i.e. freedom to choose whatever you want to experience without conditioning.This is one of the reasons why this Essence is so powerful.

There are many methods of healing specific illnesses, but before any method can be totally successful, there has to be the eradication of the predilection for disease.This remedy will not cure every disease; it is curing the predilection for disease. You would then use another remedy for whatever the specific energetic situation is that needs rebalancing or realigning.

Certain emotions can have an impact on the physical body. Having a lot of grief and sadness can affect your lungs. So if someone has a lung disease, this remedy itself is not going to cure the lung problem, nor is it addressing the grief.The remedy first of all detaches him or her from the mass consciousness of humanity, from that predilection for disease which activated that emotional state that led to the disease.The Madagascar Essence sets up resilience within the body, opening a door to give you a sacred space to have that experience or make choices without any conditioning.

So if an event happens where previously you might have reacted with sadness and grief, you can now be sufficiently removed from the mass consciousness that your old reaction isn’t activated or experienced.Thus you can step into the situation as if for the first time without any predilection and you may say,“Well yes, this is sad, but I don’t feel sad” and you choose an alternative, or you feel sadness and express it without holding onto it.

If you take away the predilection for disease, some people may feel lost because the connection to mass consciousness, which enables them to feel safe, is no longer there. If you treat someone who has lung disease with the Madagascar Essence, you may say to them “It would probably be a good idea to look at the important points of your life that caused you grief and understand the gift of them.” In other words, you give them some homework of a subtle nature, ensuring that their energy shifts and remains shifted. Following up with a Bush Essence for the grief would then be recommended.

If you remove yourself from the predilection for illness, you can put yourself right back into it if you are involved with an organisation which tells you how to think and is full of dogma. Instantly you would absorb the energy of predilection for disease. Alternatively, if you are involved with an organisation, philosophy or religion which encourages you to learn, grow, question and explore, there would be no such reversion.

The Madagascar Essence acts like a catalyst, giving more potency to the Bush Essences, enabling them to do more and act deeper on the physical and emotional levels. Boab works wonderfully with this remedy. Both help free one from the bonds of family and the genetic strains. Boab can be taken after the Madagascar Essence for the specific clearing of any residual family issues.The Madagascar Essence works under the umbrella of mthe predilection for disease and mass consciousness, while Boab is specifically working on the family aspect of the archetype.

Within mass consciousness there are archetypal energies of anger, hatred and grief etc.A family lineage will explore an aspect of an archetype. One family may be dealing with generations of abuse of one form or another. Another family lineage may be dealing with prosperity - this may include a lack of prosperity as well as an abundance. Each genetic or family line can be viewed as anexpression of an aspect of an archetypal energy, which is part of the whole of mass consciousness. These two essences don’t merely assist the family, they help cure the ‘family of man’.

Throughout the island can be found tiers of paddy fields, as rice is the staple diet and eaten with all meals. If it were not for all the Eucalypt trees everywhere, you would think you were in South East Asia.The young eucalypt saplings can be seen everywhere and, because they grow so quickly, are now the primary source of charcoal, the main cooking fuel on the island.The charcoal consumption faroutstrips the replanting and deforestation is rife. Unfortunately, there are many areas in Madagascar where there is a great deal of environmental destruction going on, in the form of widespreadclearing of the forests with the loss of many animal habitats and degradation of waterways. It was sad to see that the people are not able to look after their environment very well. Even some of theNational Parks, places of calmness, balance and beauty, have seen large increases in illegal logging and poaching since the 2008 presidential coup.

What is happening to the environment in Madagascar embodies the very same aspects and energies that have initially given rise to mass consciousness and the predilection for disease.They were created through humanity’s disconnection from, and disregard for nature, along with greed, aggression and lack of caring and co-operation. Humanity veered away from the original blueprint of being in balance and harmony with nature, animals and other people, instead creating disease, alienation and being out of balance.

Healing Qualities of Madagascar Essence

This Essence helps undo the conditioning and programming from when the energy on the planet had grown denser. Prior to this point, animals did not fear man; humans and animals were not carnivores so co-existed harmoniously; and there was co-existence with the land too.

This Essence helps heal the human aspect of alienation not only from each other but also from animals and from the land. It is able to heal the mistrust and history of antagonism and aggression from the past.This Essence can also help bring about serenity and a letting go of the fear about what is going to happen or fear of attacks from other people or animals. It engenders tolerance towards others and an appreciation of differences, not fear or hatred. There will need to be greater cooperation than ever before for humanity to raise its consciousness. Also, there may be a time when a lot of our resources and infrastructure will be altered. People will need to help each other to not only survive but also to prosper.

There seem to be so many healing qualities to this Essence. No wonder Kachina, a very gifted Light Worker commented,“this Essence is the Master key.This is where you are actually able totake on the power and become the master that you are. It really is pushing spiritual evolution to the next stage.The Light Frequency Essences are really, reallypowerful but if I could only have one ofthem, this would be it.”

• Removes the predilection for disease, thereby creating a sacred inner space of peace, harmony and balance, giving you a perfect state of alignment from which all things are possible, so you can choose whatever you want to, without conditioning.This removal also clears your lower three chakras enabling an easier transfer of energy to the higher chakras.This will allow you to be more readily able to become as one with your divine essence. 
• Aids you in the evolution of your soul to its highest, quickest and most harmonious outcome.

Recently, I read this quote from Mellen-Thomas Benedict:

“After dying, going through my near-death experience and coming back, I really respect life and death. In our DNA experiments we may have opened the door to a great secret. Soon we will be able to live as long as we want to live in this body. After living 150 years or so, there will be an intuitive soul sense that you will want to change channels. Living forever in one body is not as creative as reincarnation, as transferring energy in this fantastic vortex of energy that we are in.We are actually going to see the wisdom of life and death, andenjoy it”.

It struck me as possibly an explanation why the truer life span of a human is around the 150 mark and not more, not 300 years. In fact, one of the biggest ethical questions arising in genetics and medicine, is how long before we are at the point where we will be able to choose to live indefinitely and we will have to make the decision: 

Do we want to continue to stay alive? Leading experts estimate we are reaching this point very quickly. Already we have the capability of cloning and regrowing organs and limbs through tissue regeneration and cell re-engineering. Doctorsin the USA are already regrowing complete ears, not just the outer skin, on Iraqi and Afghan war vets who were left deaf after bomb blasts.They have also successfully regrown bladders on 29 womenin Boston. Stem cells are now being harvested from skin and not foetuses, which should rapidly expand that research. All these technologies are expected to rapidly escalate and become widely available.Though before we reach this point of longevity through technology we will have had to significantly alter our limiting beliefs and our predilection for disease.

Journey to Lake Baikal

The journey to reach Lake Baikal, located in the south-eastern part of Siberia and one of Asia’s most stunning and holy places, was not an easy one. Obstacle after obstacle was placed in my way, not least the difficulty in obtaining my Russian visa. However I was totally committed, determined and willing to do anything in order to make the trip to Lake Baikal to prepare the fifth Light Frequency Essence. I had been planning the trip for over a year and was going to get there, no matter what it took.

Lake Baikal is a very sacred place and it guards its energy carefully. I had received the message that it would not readily give up its secret and that this aspect would be very much part of the healing quality of this Essence.

To reach the lake entailed a five-hour flight from Moscow followed by another five hours of driving to our final destination, the island of Olkhon.This is the largest of the thirty islands on the lake. My greatest concern had always been of no one turning up to collect us from the airport, at 5 am, and having to make our own way to the island with only a couple of words of Russian.That almost happened!

My first sight of Lake Baikal was at the ferry crossing, though if we had arrived in winter we would have been able to drive over the frozen top layer of the lake. It is covered with ice for five months of the year, though it is not always safe crossing the ice. A few years earlier, our guide Grigor had encountered thin ice caused by a thermal spring and the van went straight through the ice to the bottom of the lake, along with four passengers. Luckily the lake was only 2.5 metres deep at that point and everyone escaped from the van and made it to the surface, but they had to run 3 kilometres to the nearest house before being able to get out of their wet, cold clothes and avoid hypothermia.

After settling in on the first day we spent the next few days with Grigor, exploring the island and getting a feel of where I should prepare the Essence. Olkhon Island stretches for 72 kilometres in length and is 27 kilometres at its widest point.There is basically just one road on the island and this is not sealed. Travellers often encounter deep sand and lots of mud on the road.

Olkhon Island is the focus of old legends and ancient traditions and is rich in archaeological monuments and sites, whilst also having a very long shamanic tradition. It is regarded as the very sacred centre and heart of Lake Baikal. Even its shape resembles Baikal’s outline.

The island is also distinguished by a special climate – in summer it is warmer and in winter colder than the surrounding region. Its average temperature is below zero degrees Centigrade. Olkhon Island is very dry with sudden high winds, sometimes reaching hurricane force up to 150 km per hour. Baikal is one of the stormiest lakes of the world.The surface of the lake very rarely stays calm and waves can exceed 4 meters in height.

Making the Essence

I chose to make the remedy on an area on the north-east of Olkhon Island. This area was directly adjacent to the deepest part of the lake, which reaches 1636 metres in depth, with sediment to an estimated depth of four kilometres beneath this.

Before being dropped off on the cliff top where I was to make the Essence, I collected water from the pristine lake to use in the process. Baikal is the only open freshwater body in the world where the water can be bottled for drinking.There is no developed infrastructure on the shores of Lake Baikal and the water doesn’t contain toxic heavy metals. Grigor,our guide, drove me through fields of flowering thyme to my pristine Essence making spot. As he and my wife Jane drove off to go horse riding, the smell of the sweet thyme lingered in the air.

Olkhon Island and Lake Baikal have a very still energy and peacefulness – a sense for me of a connection back to ancient times and a trusting of how everything unfolds in the right way; that spirit is guiding and leading you and that there is no concern as to what changes may lie ahead, whether in your personal life or in the physical environment around you. It is about connecting to the source of all from the beginning of time; it is a timelessness of being at one, with an ancient sense of being that is not corrupted – it is pure, pure ‘at oneness’. The Lake Baikal Essence embodies these very qualities.

Lemurian civilisation fell when humanity decided it was boring to always be having a harmonious spiritual time and chose to explore pleasure rather than spirituality. That was when the energy on the planet began to drop and become denser. Lake Baikal holds the original energy prior to that density developing, when the energy still flowed fully and clearly from the stillness of the heart that was at one with the Divine.That ancient energy has never been replicated elsewhere and Lake Baikal has never been infected by that density or invaded or infiltrated by any other similar energies. It has always been shielded, because it is going to be needed at a later time.You could say it is the well from which humanity first drank and to which humanity will return for the next stage of its evolution.

The Essence was completed at 2.19pm on Saturday 4 July. From that moment on until I arrived back in Sydney the bottles of mother tincture were guarded very preciously while lavishly and abundantly swaddled in bubble wrap and cardboard.

Lake Baikal

Local people don’t refer to Baikal as a lake but rather as a sea, being 636 kilometres long with a maximum width of 81 kilometres and containing one fifth of the world’s fresh water.

Lake Baikal’s water is a massive 23,000km3 in volume – this is larger than all five Great American Lakes put together, plus the Baltic Sea. Lake Baikal is also the world’s oldest lake, dating back over 30 million years. Most lakes silt up after 10,000 to 15,000 years. However Lake Baikal is expanding by 0.5cm a year and geophysicists believe it will eventually become the world’s fifth ocean.These statistics are impressive, but are not sufficient to convey the serenity, purity and ‘ancientness’ that I felt on its shores, which are unbelievably picturesque.

The water of the lake is distinguished by its extraordinary clarity and cleanliness.The deep water area of the lake is indigo in colour, like that of deep seas, while the lake’s transparency is higher than that of all other lakes of the world, reaching the transparency of oceans. Scientists have concluded that a typical drop of water entering Baikal remains for about 400 years before being drained off by the Angara River – the only one of over 300 rivers that runs out of, rather than into the lake. Lake Baikal has a powerful capacity for self purification.

Lake Baikal is a listed World Heritage Site for helping to preserve the gene pool of the Earth and to understand its biological and geological evolution. In its immediate vicinity live 2595 species of animals, of which 1455 are endemic,along with over 1000 species of plants, with over 100 being endemic. The lake is home to 58 species of fish.

Yet Baikal is more than merely these physical things. It is also at its very deepest point an inter-dimensional portal which is gradually being opened at this time. Its depth means that it will not be disturbed or interfered with by any kind of human investigation. Portals are being opened in many powerful places on the Earth and Lake Baikal is one of them.Baikal is a portal between the worlds, an entrance place on the planet for incarnating beings who are coming in at this time.Those who are choosing to return are initiated and reintegrated into the blueprint of the Earth’s dimension through these various portals in the fifth dimension around the Earth.Their light bodies come in through these portals,though they will mostly be physically born in other regions or countries.

The Lake Baikal portal attracts those who want to develop a level of understanding of the heart, of cooperation and of co-creation.These incarnating beings are wishing to help bring the Earth into a new possibility, into the fullness of both the planet’s and our own potential destiny and connecting us deeply to the Divine source.These souls are preparing to come in now for the great change which is about to occur, a moving towards the new Golden Age that follows what will quite likely be a difficult time that lies before. Many will go at this time.

For a long time the Earth has been on a downwards spiritual spiral which has been very difficult, and the souls being born now are coming back to recreate a whole new wave of consciousness. There is an impetus now for a complete global change and a big new opportunity for evolution to happen upon the Earth, and indeed throughout our Solar System. About the Lake Baikal Essence

My need and urge to travel to Baikal was very strong, as if something inside me, the spirit of the place, was calling me. The effect of my pilgrimage all the way to Lake Baikal, and that of others doing the same with an open heart, is the activation and opening of the portal and the restoration of the surrounding energetic ley lines. When the magnetic fields of the Earth shift in the future, the etheric ley lines which make up the Earth’s grid need to be really firmly in place. This will allow the transition to be a lot smoother. Similarly for humans, if you meditate and are able to be at peace within, then you are more likely to breathe through any major changes or shocks that come, and will manage the change far more easily than someone with frayed nerve endings and a disorientated and misaligned body.

The Earth is going to undergo a series of jolts and shocks. She knows that, she is preparing for that, and she tries to prepare as many as possible who are willing to open their minds and hearts. People need to become aware that theyneed to open up and upgrade their capacity to receive a greater voltage of the new energies around us. Currently everything has been given a bit of a shaking up: the poles are changing; the stratosphere around the Earth is looser,more open; the old ways are being blown around.You can see it in people, politics, economies, societies and in families; you can see it also in nature.This is why it is so important to start to really nurture yourself spiritually and open at a deeper level, particularly within your heart centre.The Lake Baikal Essence helps you to do this. By taking this Essence,wherever you are in the world, you gain access to that Baikal portal.The openings of these portals are opportunities for your empowerment. In taking this remedy you absorb deeply into your psyche the encoded essence of Baikal and the portal.

This Essence allows for a quickening – a creating of shortcuts of understanding and accelerated opening to all the new energies around us.This is a very unique Essence; as people come into balance with this Essence, they become available as vessels for the new energies that are coming in.These energies are about equality, about unity, about balancing one’s masculinity and femininity, and about global oneness, balance, and harmony.The Lake Baikal Essence is a key remedy for opening into this new potential within oneself and within one’s world.

Mass consciousness is comprised of the mental and the emotional energies of every member of humanity.What youhold within your thoughts, within your emotions, contributes to the whole that is termed ‘mass consciousness’. The Lake Baikal remedy maintains your ability to be in the world but not of it. It enables you to continue to be in that pure, still energy of being at one, so you are less influenced and invaded by mass consciousness.Then you are far less likely to make judgements and react. The trick is to be able to be part of it but to always choose how you feel and respond from your own inner space of being ‘at one’, rather than having mass consciousness tell you what you ought to do and how you should behave.

I certainly found that I had to work very hard to access this Essence. It was like penetrating an old deep mystery or secret. Baikal contains ancient spiritual energy and it is not going to be open to just anyone to go there, to get whatever they want to take from it.The physical difficulties to get there are part of its natural protection so that the energy can remain as pure as it is intended to be. My experience was an allegory of a classic male heroic journey, where the hero has to pass many tests and everything is trying to stop him. His goal is going to pull back right at the very last minute. The male has to stay open right to the very end because it’s not going to come easy. He has to be very masculine and stay in his power while also being shown that there are egotistical layers that he has to strip away to get to his goal – and that is exactly how it was.

Masculine

For the male, the Lake Baikal Essence represents the journey of the consciousness searching for that balance of what is deep within, which is the power of the Divine feminine.This is hidden; it has been suppressed and pushed down by the patriarchy from the outside, and suppressed internally by the conscious mind. Many men view a woman’s ability to express emotion and the feminine aspects of their own self as a weakness and yet these attributes are some of men’s greatest strengths and are the basis of their intuitive power and ability to feel.

It is not to say that a man coming into his Divine feminine will become feminine. He will remain very much the embodiment of the Divine masculine with its all-embracing, creative male power. However within him he is not afraid of his emotionality; he doesn’t have difficulty in crying or showing emotion – that is his power. This remedy will help him to reclaim and bring back into his male body the deep female, feminine Yin power of emotional expressions. Once a man has reclaimed that power and is actually able to feel it in his body then it becomes easier to speak of what he is feeling.

The Essence encourages a man to work to bring back these places of expression in a powerful way and reclaim his ‘wildness’.This may be in movement or sound, or through being more physically active.The wildness has been so suppressed that it is coming out in the most terrifying aggressive and/or sexual ways – terrifying for them and terrifying for children and for women.

The male emotional body has gradually, over a very long time, become compressed and is not so elastic or expandable. Basically the mental body took over in order for men to feel ‘in control’. There are many consequences if your mental and emotional aspects do not work hand in hand, including sexual perversion, violence or dis-ease. Blood is the vehicle of joy in the physical body. If there is no joy the blood flow is impeded, which is why so many males have had heart attacks and strokes. In addition, male aggression has been suppressed and frequently comes out in a violent or deviant kind of sexuality. Many men have suppressed rage and fears,and there is nowhere for them to put these emotions and nowhere that they are allowed to come out in a balanced way. When connected to your emotions, anger can be positively expressed where it is pure energy or where it protects your place of love and the places where you have been wounded.

Much is needed for the healing of the male sexuality. Of course there is a corresponding abuse of the female sexuality to be dealt with as well.They are actually two sides of the same coin and are intertwined in a complex picture. Vestiges of this are carried within every single relationship because we are all enmeshed in mass consciousness.

The beauty of the Lake Baikal Essence is that it treats suppressed violence with the gentlest of touch and little by little softens the energy so that the male emotional body begins to feel and express itself appropriately. It acts like opening a tap and out pours all the pain, all the anger, all the self-judgement that by being suppressed led to violence, perversions etc. The energy of the Essence transmutes the emotions – as the poison drips out, that energy is replaced with a sense of stillness of belonging. It is a very important Essence.

Feminine

For the female, the Lake Baikal Essence helps her to find her Yang. It helps her to find her power and to literally understand that she has always had that power.The Yang has been suppressed within the woman just as the Yin has been suppressed within the male.If a woman gets more into the feminine she will naturally reach her masculine. For a woman, finding the Yang power doesn’t mean having to be like a man or imitating what men are doing in the male world, which at the present time is out of balance.There is no point going out of her balance and into an out-of-balance created world that is completely devoid of natural connection – of connection to the root, to her power, to the power of the womb.

For a woman, her Divine Yang is the power of love, the power of creation. It is the power where she is the embodiment of the Divine feminine. She already is this, and she needs to understand her power – that she is the power of life, the power of the Earth, the power of nature. She is Mother Nature.

However, many women in the world believed they had to suppress their femininity in order to be masculine, so asto compete, to show they were as good as men and to succeed. So women who believed they had to be that way became as unnatural in being themselves as the men had become unnatural in suppressing part of themselves. In these women the masculine / mental body has again taken over, for competition arises from the mental body not the emotional.Women who compete and want to be seen as an equal in a masculine world change how they dress, change how they speak and change how they walk. Some even begin to unconsciously change their inner metabolism to a more masculine one, or they can begin to lose the definition of the female shape, again moving to a more masculine one.Infertility can become a problem.That is what occurs when one body takes precedence over the other and there isno flow of energy.The Lake Baikal Essence works to bring both polarities together equally.You cannot be at oneness if one or the other aspect of self is not in balance.

Oneness

In winter Lake Baikal freezes, creating a protective layer that allows internal changes to occur without external disruption. Basically they feel pushed to the absolute limit. Some people in this situation will have a strong urge to find peace – to find something, somehow. For others it will be like a breaking down of their nervous system. They wonder ‘What is the point?’This is not depression; they have just lost any sense of self and therefore any purpose. This state often arises from a belief that they have failed – that, no matter what they try to do, it is never quite successful. In their own mind they never succeed. ‘I could have done more but I did not do enough’. It is such extreme self judgement that causes the nervous collapse, as the energy cannot be sustained.

If you look at the mental body and the emotional body from the perspective of gender, the mental body is the masculine energy and the emotional body is the feminine. If you have suppressed yourself emotionally and used your mind to keep yourself safe and in control, to compete, to achieve, and suddenly the mind says ‘I am lost, I have failed’, what do you suppose occurs? The emotional body cannot nurture, as it has not been given permission. It has not even been given a place to exist.

The Amazon Essence

The third Light Frequency Essence, the Amazon Essence, was made in the Botanic Wilderness National Park, Nova Airum, Brazil on Tuesday 23 September 2008. It was prepared on an island on the Rio Negro River, one of two rivers that later join to become the Amazon River. The island is situated in the biggest archipelago in the world.

I had been in the Amazon for some time before preparing the Essence. This was my first time in the Amazon, though I had received the message two years earlier that I would be been making a remedy here. Initially, after teaching in San Paulo, I flew into Manaus, the capital of the Amazon region in Brazil. Then a short drive for an hour, followed by a two-hour boat trip on the Rio Preta da Eva, a tributary of the Amazon River, saw me arriving at our jungle lodge. The main thing that struck me in my time in the Amazon was the complexity of this environment. I have never been in an area where I have felt less knowing of a region; it was a very foreign reality.

At the lodge it was very fortunate to have as a guide a man by the name of Leandro. He is Brazilian but was born in the very north of the country, near the Guyana border. Guyana is an English-speaking country and Leandro went to school here, hence English was his first language. He was the oldest of 16 children and the only one in his family who had moved away from the area. He always had a sense of wanting to explore. It was a great privilege to hear his stories, and to understand and see the jungle through his eyes.

Leandro was able to point out and show things that I was totally oblivious to. One day whilst walking he stopped abruptly, indicated for us to be quiet and after a few minutes of silently staring at a pile of leaves suddenly plunged his hand into the leaves. He pulled out a baby 40cm snake, grasping it firmly by its head. This was no ordinary snake however but a Surukuku or Bush Master, the most deadly snake in the whole of South America. Similarly, one night when we were out alligator spotting, Leandro allowed the canoe to quietly drift up to the bank, in pitch-black darkness, and after a moment or two of observation, thrust his hand into the water and pulled up a baby alligator.

There were many wonderful things that I learnt from Leandro, such as understanding that in the jungle the hunting animals all have their time for hunting. For the jaguar, the king of the South American jungle, it’s between 11pm and 1am. We found ants that you could crush and smear over your skin that would repel mosquitos; sap from one of the trees that could be lit and burned bright, light like a candle; a semi-hollow species of tree that you could hit as a means of communicating from one to another. Passing one hole in the ground Leandro stopped, stripped the leaves off a young plant stem, rubbed the stem under his armpit to give it a good meaty smell and stuck the stem down the hole. A few seconds later a huge crab spider came out after it, sensing the fleshy aroma. Leandro
grabbed it making careful that the sac at the base of its belly couldn’t squirt any powder,
used to paralyse its prey, onto him. Mind you, its monstrous fangs were more intimidating to me. There were other spiders he caught which he told us if we were bitten by, would make us very sick for weeks, whereas it would only affect him for a couple of days! Leandro saw himself very much as the Steve Irwin of Brazil.

Even though it is being rapidly destroyed for short-term greed there is a harmony and balance that you get in the jungle. Gaia certainly won’t let that balance and harmony be lost. It was very disturbing to see the areas that have been cleared, as there is much illegal logging and farming. Disturb the fragile relationships between the soil, vegetation, climate, animals and other factors and the jungle has problems sustaining itself. Local families are given 5 acres (2 hectares) and allowed to clear 1 acre a year – usually to grow the staple crop manioc. After being farmed for a couple of years, 1 acre is abandoned, so that it can be reclaimed by the forest before the soil becomes exhausted.

Leaving the lodge we returned to Manaus then crossed the Rio Negro in a large car/passenger ferry. We continued driving until reaching the town of Nova Airum to see the pink dolphins, one of the main focuses of our journey.

A local woman, Marilda, has for many years been championing their cause and carrying out a marvellous job protecting them. She has saved many from the fishermen’s nets, and now a number of young ones are being born into the pod.

Pink dolphins are found in only one other area in the world. This is in China near the Laotian border; there they have a very short snout and are a much smaller dolphin. The Brazilian species can grow up to 6–8 feet (2–2.5 metres) in length. With the dark black water where you can’t see more than a foot or two in front of you, it’s obvious that these animals don’t require or use their tiny bead like eyes for hunting. However this doesn’t stop the Asian demand for their eyes as medicine, in the belief that they will restore ailing sight and they fetch a high price on the black market. There is similar demand for the pink dolphin’s penis for use as an aphrodisiac.

Amazon Essence

The Antarctic Essence Journey by Ian White

I’m also very excited to announce a brand new and a very different Essence. It’s neither a Bush Essence nor a White Light Essence, but instead something exceptionally unique … the Antarctic Essence.

I have just returned from an extensive trip to many regions of Chile and Argentina that also included an 11 day sea voyage to Antarctica. To reach Antarctica entailed two and a half days of sailing, on a Swedish ‘icebreaker’ converted to a passenger ship, across what’s known as the Drake Passage, one of the most treacherous and rough bodies of water in the world.

The day my wife Jane, daughter Grace and I boarded our ship at Ushuaia, on the southern-most tip of Argentina, there was a Force Ten gale blowing – I experienced many such strong winds later on in the trip whilst trekking in Patagonia. We all had our luggage on trolleys and as we tried to force our way against the wind up the wharf, an extra strong gust blew Jane’s woollen hat and gloves from the top of her trolley into the water. My rush to the wharf’s edge to see if they were retrievable was abruptly halted by Grace’s scream to intercept my own unattended trolley which the gale was blowing towards the water. I only just stopped it.

Our ship had docked earlier that morning at the completion of its previous Antarctic journey and had experienced extremely rough conditions … with apparently many a passenger leaving with a green colouration. The Drake Passage is constantly beset by strong westerly winds and low pressure systems. I would estimate that at least half of the 80 odd passengers on board were seasick as we battled through the six to ten metre swells. There were certainly many new stains on the carpet of the two-passenger cabin decks. Grace wasn’t seen during those two days, and many others had a similar fate. To think that I used to complain about the challenges, time, cost and difficulty of actually getting to places and preparing some of the White Light Essences … such as the making of the Earth Essence from the cave in Bhubaneswah, in far northern India or having to make the perilous climb up the sheer face of Putucusi Mountain in Peru order to get to the top to make the Angelic Essence! It was a great relief to reach the calmer waters that the landmass of Antarctica provides.

 

We had five days scheduled for landings in Antarctica, though the weather was so bad on the fifth day that both landings were abandoned. The one thing about Antarctica that you learn quickly is how suddenly and drastically the weather can change. Of the other four days, two were quite fantastic; blue skies, little wind and temperatures above zero. In some years there may be only five days like this over the whole southern summer, which lasts from November to March. We were very fortunate to experience two such perfect days. I had a strong feeling there was a possibility of an Essence being made on this expedition so I had all the necessary equipment with me. On board I received the message that ‘the remedy had to be made on the actual mainland’, which in our case meant it would have to be on one of our landings on the Antarctic Peninsula, as opposed to any of the islands we visited offshore.                                                                                        

The brilliance of Antarctica’s white ice is stunning and intense. In the glacial ice and older floating icebergs there is a tinge of beautiful azure blue as the ice only reflects blue light, the other colours of the spectrum being absorbed. I was guided to use this ancient ice, which was at least 20,000 years old, as water to prepare the remedy. From discussing our future landings with our expedition leader, it was apparent to me that the only possibility for making the Essence would be at Cierva Cove. It’s important in making my Essences that other people not be present, as their thought forms can impair the remedy. Our other landings would not allow me the opportunity to move to an isolated space away from the other passengers and crew. I can never remember being more excited and yet also anxious about the prospect of making a remedy. The night before, I triple – or probably quadruple – checked all the equipment I would need and could hardly sleep.

The Cierva Cove landing was the first for the day – we usually did one in the morning after breakfast, and one after lunch. The landings are made in smaller rubber inflated Zodiac boats with a driver and ten passengers. I was down at the landing bay, first in line, 45 minutes before the scheduled departure as I knew that in order to have enough time to complete the Essence I’d have to go out on the first Zodiac and come back on the last. Even the appearance near the landing of the only two flowers that can be found in Antarctica, one a tussocky grass, and the other belonging to the carnation family, barely held me up as I quickly and purposefully set off in search of an isolated location to prepare the Essence. I had to move carefully too, as I encountered a lot of moss and lichen as I travelled inland away from the cove. It’s important not to tread on these life forms as they’re incredibly slow growing and one careless step can wipe out a hundred years or more of growth. So it was challenging trying to get to a destination as there’d be much backtracking needed to get to where I wanted to be as I would often run out of stepping rock. Unfortunately there were two passengers, with very expensive and elaborate camera equipment, who also seemed to have it in mind to get to an isolated area for their photographic agenda. This forced me to go further than I had hoped away from the Zodiac landing. Fortunately our English expedition leader, whose mother is an osteopath, was very sympathetic, helpful and open to me preparing the Essence and was aware that I needed to be away from the others, which for safety reasons is not encouraged at all.

Eventually my spot was chosen for me when I was stopped in my tracks by a number of skua’s starting to harangue and swoop down at me. They are mean, large, ugly and aggressive birds at the best of times and obviously they thought I was getting too close to their nesting area. As I sat quietly on a rock platform overlooking the bay and regathered my composure after the skuas’ greeting, I was overtaken by the deafening silence, tremendous calm and quietude, not to mention the intensity of the elements and Nature present there. I quickly entered a deep state of peace and tranquillity unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. Antarctica is an amazing place to find yourself in, and a tremendous privilege as very few people have been there, let alone being in the position of being able to make an Essence available to everyone, which encapsulates this unique continent. As I sat meditating, my solitude would from time to time be shattered by the explosive shattering of ice as large shards of an iceberg would calf into the cold waters of the cove.

Over time I would see the ice split up and slowly drift with the currents filling the cove. As the Essence progressed I became a little alarmed as a snowstorm started, developing on the horizon and gradually made its way across to where I was, making visibility very difficult and myself and my rock very cold. It left me wondering whether I’d be able to make my way back to the landing zone. I should always know that I’m very guided and protected in making the Essences and fortunately there was always just enough visibility to keep the landing area in sight constantly.

The conditions started to slightly improve as I began making my way back down, holding on very tightly to my Mother Tincture and crouching very low to the ground due to the aggressive and somewhat scary attention of the skuas once again. I made it down to the Zodiac at the final moment before it left.

Later that night on the boat they showed a documentary on Antarctica by David Attenborough where he too was swooped on in the same manner by skuas! The scary part is that they fly straight at you with their long, close to metre-wide wingspan, at eye level and only veer off at the last moment, just narrowly missing your head.

Before the Essence and I were safely on board, there was one wonderful and fitting finale to this adventure. A ten metre Minke whale was in a very inquisitive, friendly and playful mood and had been frolicking with the Zodiacs as they made their return to their ship. With ours he seemed to spend a particularly long time, diving under, up, going from one side to the other, then surfacing to look at us, from just a few feet away with his big doleful eyes, then breaching and rolling on his belly, putting on a wonderful show for us. Thankfully our Zodiac driver was quite happy to stay with this beautiful minke rather than return quickly to the ship.

During the voyage we also had close encounters with pods of both humpback and orca whales, not to mention the numerous species of birds that can be found in Antarctica and the thousands upon thousands of penguins. We encountered four different penguin species – Gentoo, Macaroni, Adelie and Chinstrap – on our various landings. There were also many different types of seals, from the huge bull elephant seals to the innocent puppy faced Weddel seals to the sleek lethal leopard seals. One of these tried to attack one of the Zodiac drivers who narrowly escaped at full throttle. The leopard seals can be up to 4 metres long and if you’ve seen the movie March of the Emperors, you’ll know what a finely tuned killing machine they are – not a creature to tangle with.

Qualities of Antarctic Essence

Antarctic Essence allows you to be aware of what is really necessary in your life and in the situations that you are encountering. This is one of the key aspects of the Essence and also to feel tremendous calm, peace and stillness within yourself … to help let fall away those things that are not essential to you and taking you away from that inner peace and being at one with nature. The purity of Antarctica helps you to find your own pure essence – the very core of yourself – and to let go of whatever takes you from this timeless, clear-centred part of yourself. It allows you to go deeply into things and not get distracted; to see the core of things and what’s important. If you are too distracted it will help to pull you back into harmony. The other key aspect of the Antarctic Essence is that it will reveal to you aspects of yourself that are very deep and hidden –what are referred to sometimes as ‘old dark crystals’. This Essence will bring the light to them and dissolve these old patterns and beliefs (which may have been formed in ancient times or may be early beliefs developed this lifetime). Their dissolution will help you to trust Spirit, to trust your path and to show you the necessary new steps. The Antarctic Essence can also help you to connect to the wisdom of the Ancients as well as your own ancient past and the communication of anything needed from that time. It helps you find the patience to be very still, which will help you to trust the unfolding of your life and direction with openness to these new revelations and willingness to seek and follow them. It even helps when dealing with major change. There’s a deep stillness that can come with trust in life, nature and God which when achieved will help you find your own peace and stillness, and allow you to be able to stay in this state more readily. This Essence can help in the clarity of both your vision for what is necessary and essential in your life, as well as your communication.

Early this year I received guidance to make an Arctic Essence, which would work hand in hand with the Antarctic Essence made last year, in 2006.  I had the choice of preparing the Arctic Essence in Greenland, Scandinavia or Alaska.  Our distributors in Norway did not feel that Scandinavia was a good choice because of the German bombing of this region during the Second World War.  Greenland always felt the right choice intuitively, and it held more appeal and fascination for me than Alaska.

Travelling to Greenland called for a five-hour flight from Denmark, which has sovereignty over this Arctic country.  I can still remember the feeling of wonder when the icebergs started becoming more frequent as we edged over the ocean towards Greenland’s coast.  Fingers of ice and land touched the ocean below as the land mass took shape.  Soon everything below was white.  The intensity and energy of the land was overpowering.  Occasional small circles of blue appeared, indicating where the ice was melting and the water was being freed and flowing. We landed in the town of Kangerlussuaq, set 25 km inland from the ocean at the base of a long fjord.  Being inland, this town has a very different climate to the other towns in Greenland, which are right on the coast.

I had felt sure and trusted that I would not need to travel away from Kangerlussuaq and could use this as a base.  And this is exactly how it turned out.  I felt a tremendous sense of gratitude for how everything was coming into place for this Essence to be made – and gratitude also for how I am always looked after when travelling to make remedies.  I arrived not knowing a great deal about the country or how I would be able to find and reach a suitable location to prepare the Essence.  I wasn’t even sure whether I was likely to come into the vicinity of polar bears and what precautions one needs to take.  I very was aware of how often I am travelling on a wing and a prayer especially when making the White Light Essences and these Light Frequency Essences.  In comparison I am far more familiar and comfortable in dealing with the heat, flies, crocodiles and snakes of Australia when making the Bush Flower Essences. The possibility of running into a polar bear or dealing with the extreme weather of the Arctic and Antarctic regions is out of my comfort zone.

There were a couple of small, organized trips available from Kangerlussuaq to either the Ice Cap or Russell Glacier. These  enabled me to gain a feel for the region and to choose the best location to prepare the Essence.  I arranged to be dropped off from one of these trips; they do not run every day and only at most, once a day.  So for a princely sum I was to be collected at midnight, when darkness was beginning to fall, giving me plenty of time to prepare the Essence.

As soon as I left the 4WD, I had a tremendous feeling of excitement and adventure as I made my way to the distant waterfall where I was going to make the Essence.  Within a few minutes the dirt road was totally out of sight and I had the whole landscape to myself.  I felt fully joyous, happy and totally free. This area, and Greenland generally, was very pure energetically and abounding in Nature spirits.  My mood became incredibly light-hearted and playful as I frolicked in their presence, while all the time marvelling at the stunning beauty of the area – the river cutting through the steep hills and passing in front of the glacier, all under a beautiful, deep, blue sky.

For a country commonly dismissed as consisting of only barren land and ice I was surrounded by a vast variety of many colourful flower species in bloom. All the time I kept hearing the phrase ‘the spirit of freedom’ being repeated over and over in my head, and I was feeling tremendous bliss.

This special Essence was made at the base of a waterfall in view of the Russell Glacier with all the elements present:

Air – A peregrine falcon swooped over me as I made my way to prepare the Essence. The Sylphs, air nature spirits, were evident by ripples on the water created by the cold wind that was blowing.

Water – All around was ice and the flowing waterfall from the melting ice.

Fire – The sun shone brightly on this summer’s day in Greenland.

Earth – Granite rocks were scattered everywhere, and nearby was the silty moraine of the glacier. 

After a very lengthy and deep meditation, the Essence was commenced at 5. 58pm on Friday 20 July and completed at 8. 08pm.

Currently the Arctic is in a state of flux.  There is tremendous change underway and the releasing of powerful energy that has been held in suspension for a very long time.

However, the melting ice is being released too quickly for planetary harmony.  Both the Poles are changing and this is one of the aspects that will complete the change of the Earth’s electro-magnetic energy field that is now also shifting.  My understanding is that the planet is going to shift a little, without cataclysmic changes. The Poles are likely to tilt a little more on their axis and the polarity will shift to a new frequency by 2012. 
The stability of the Poles in the past and their opposite polarities has created a balance of suspension in the Earth’s electro-magnetic energy fields.
